How To Upload a Kit or Tutorial

admin June 20th, 2008

Step by step help file for getting your file(s) on the site

Here’s a video tutorial that takes you step by step through uploading here at the web site. This is a FLASH file, your browser might need to download a plugin to view it, like many other videos online (YouTube, etc). This is only 22 megs.

Feel free to attach as many files as you need to in your posts – this upload process has you submit it (PUBLISH) with just one thumbnail and one zip file.

Here’s another version of the same video in WMV format, that means it works with Windows Media Player – and on a Mac with a free plugin that is described in this Forum Message.

Please leave any comments, errors, omissions, or suggestions in the posting I made about it.

    I watched the video, but when I went to the Dashboard and hit New Post, it looks different than in your video. I can’t find where to upload the pictures from the computer. It only seems to have media, flash, quicktime, etc. What am I missing? Thank you for your help.

    TalyQ:

    I saw your note for help uploading!

    First, did you already register at the site and what is your user name for it? Before you can upload, you need to be authorized. {We can’t let all the crazy spammers upload anytime they want and all…}

    That might be why you don’t see the Upload/Insert Add Media buttons.

    You can email me for help anytime – I’ve just sent this same information to your email.

    I did register, but I missed the part about contacting for authorization. I did it now. Thank you.
